This is the main view for Freshlist. However, I think 'New' will be replaced with a '+' icon. There will also be an additional button on the left to go to the settings/info view.
Thanks to @mactyler for all of his awesome suggestions. :)
It's really well-done. The area where it's most lacking (and on the whole, it's great) is the tear effect. I think making it look a bit more like real paper (and perhaps more than 2 "page tears") could really help it out.
Nice work, though! Yet another to-do list I'll have to check out :)
Agreed, the app store is over saturated with to-do list apps. The problem is that almost all of them try to do way too much. You can create folders, tag to-dos, star them, set a due date, add notes to them, etc. Personally, this gets in my way of actually finishing the things I need to do.
Freshlist lets you do one thing: write a short to-do and check it off when it's finished. Items expire on midnight of the day they were created. This will hopefully motivate you to finish as many things as possible on a given day as well as preventing you from getting ahead of yourself.
Here is an app that takes the same approach, created by Chris Kalani: http://todokyo.com/
How does this (http://www.firetask.com/images/iphone-screen1.png) remind you of Jarod's app? I'm just not seeing it, is all. I wasn't trying to be "arsey." All I see in common is the check on the left, and that's pretty much standard fare for to-do list apps.
The iPad version has the ripped pages effect, which ok I should have said when i was saying it reminded me of Firetask, also Things have the same effect.

You'll have to ask @mactyler. He was kind enough to give it to me.

Nick, how exactly does this remind you of Firetask in any way, shape, or form?
The fact that they're both to-do lists is all I'm seeing. The interfaces aren't that similar, but granted, I don't own or use Firetask.

Looks awesome but another to-do list app?

@Dustin, perhaps go and have a look at the site before you pass a comment like that? http://www.firetask.com/
I'm not saying it's a bad thing, so no need to get all arsey.
