It could be the limited crop, but Im not getting the black "shelves" or whatever they are that jut out from the moon on either side? Might be cool if they were clouds instead?
This is looking great. I thought you might be going for the Saturday Evening Post look with that double line; I don't think it translates very well into this piece, though. I love the thought, but the position of the elements make those lines kind of awkward, imo.

The arms are going to be long gloves.. need to separate them from her shoulder more.
The "shelves" are just a nod to Leyendecker and Rockwell but they may not read well?

The pink tone of her gloves is definitely too close to her skin tone. The darker bit by her hands might be okay, though.
