Here is Version 1 of my logo, I have (rather surprisingly) been working on it for a while on and off and it has been a painful, tedious process - My main focus has been on getting the icon as usable and clear as possible i plan to use it without the 'Rufus Denne' text - (that is really just so it is identified on here as a logo)
I would be really interested in any thoughts and feedback dribbble may have!
@Rowan, i know exactly what you mean about adding a center to the 'd'. I'll keep working on it. I don't think i do want it to look too obvious, but maybe more so (if you know what i mean).
I'm suffering from the "i have looked at this one thing for too long" syndrome. It would be great to see what fresh eyes see. :)
The newest version of my logo. I feel like i am making ground. It has changed so radically mainly because i didn't like the way my initials were displayed in lower case (for a name) grammatically not correct and on reflection - not really my style. Feedback encouraged!
i have to say this my favorite of the three i just looked at. i am however bias towards lower case letters but even taking that into consideration the newest versions seems to be lacking the character this one has. the only thing i would consider is maybe separating the two shapes a bit to make them more immediately recognizable
@alan thanks for your feedback! I decided to stage this one and choose another direction because rather coincidentally the very thing you liked - bugged me! I would never purposely spell my name in lowercase and therefore felt it was inappropriate for my logo.

I see what you mean now! The only criticism I have is that without the words it may not be immediately obvious that the logo is an 'r' + 'd'...
I know it could easily ruin the simplicity of the logo but did you try using something to indicate the middle of the 'd'?
Other than that, cool :) I'd be tempted to add some curves but, again, I think that'd spoil it!
