Nice work Sean. I think I like the other one, but see how this one could have the potential for long term. However, I do think the leaf/ear on the first one could work great in black and white also.
Should it have some kind of leafy line or veins? Just thinking about if this was one color, you wouldn't necessarily be able to tell that they were leaves.
Hey man, I am liking it but i feel like in black and white it will just become abstract, and the meaning could be lost. Maybe make the leaves smaller and the dog a little more distinctive?
Obviously it's not quite the same sprout/plant concept you have going on now > but it does seem like a little more definition of the head & maybe a bit of bulk goes a ways towards increasing the readability of the dog.
I think it has potential for sure, Sean. I like Mike's suggestion. Or even a triangle shaped ear (leaf) facing down. just one ear. Just a thought. But I also really like the other direction too. keep going on it man. I know you will nail it. love the variety of effort.
seems a little disconnect between the head and ears. Also the dog head reminds me a gun for some reason....maybe because it looks a little blocky.
Liking your other direction better.

I liked the other one, but this knocked it out of the park. Great job.

Yeah I like the other one too, but this has more staying power. I think this would work better in black and white and would be easier to scale down.

Yeah, I saw dog...a bit and maybe a hand. The leaves didn't strike me as ears :S

Yeah agree, if you can't see a dog right away then it's probably not the right dog choice.
