The name is pretty self-explanatory :) Conceptual design for a music player app, featuring the album cover in a spherical frame. Want to put an emphasis on album art. Kept it pretty flat.
Didn't want to crowd the design, but volume control surrounds the sphere and is adjusted by running the thumb in a circular motion, like an old-school click-wheel. Ideally, "next" and "previous" would be controlled by touch alone, with no buttons. Overall color scheme of an electric green and dark, charcoal gray.

Really clean design ! But i think it would be better with another font no ?
Anyway nice first shot Juliana !
@Juliana - welcome to the team. Really love the balance of the whole interface, the clean, yet fresh look and the feel you´ve created here. Maybe I´d pay some more attention to the colourscheme, al little tweak here and there would maybe help to make a great ui even better - and I garre with @Kevin - another font, maybe a mix of two fonts would enhance the clean feel even more.
clean work and also agree with @Kevin Cdnc
Thanks for the feedback! Much appreciated :) Agree that perhaps another font could have given it that extra umph, I"m generally very into the thin, sans, caps.
I actually like the font used in this design. It goes along with the flat and clean/minimalist look.
Great work, welcome to the dribbble team!
Thanks so much :)
Simply awesome work you have done, welcome to dribbble and waiting for you next shot.
I love the overall design! Really nice ui work, welcome!
This would be very nice as an iOS 7 app. I really like this but do agree with the font comments. Welcome to Dribbble!
Appreciate the feedback!

Welcome to the game.
Welcome aboard :)
Great shot @Juliana Linder Looks great! Maybe just a slightly heavier weight of the font. That tall, narrow, font would look nice though if just a touch clear
@Vivek Venkatraman thanks I appreciate the feedback ;)
Colour palette is nice and I like the idea of the play scrubber, I would look at the legibility of the type though. great work.
@Juliana Linder I'd love to pick your brain over coffee one day
@Alex S. Lakas yeah I'd really like to hear about how you make these sweet animations, they look fantastic.
@Juliana Linder holler at me on gchat: email@example.com
