Wanted to try some more new things with jQuery... so given that I had already created a silly plugin related to long shadows, I figured I'd go all the way and also made a silly generator!

AWESOME, YOU THE MAN!
This is so freaking awesome. Incredible work! I just used it on a flat design I've been playing with: http://modbox.co/.
Just thought of another cool experiment for you - change the direction of the shadow based on the mouse's position on the screen...
@Chris Allen good idea! I'll see what I can do about that in a couple of days. I kinda forgot to add a "shadow direction" field though - had already coded 8 different directions for the jQuery plugin I made a couple of days ago...
@Jesse Rosenfield LOL thanks man.
This is BLOODY BRILLIANT MATE!
Its just Awesome ! I did this 10 days ago Long-shadow-maker not as perfect as yours !
Hah! Very handy!
Awesome tool.. It would be nice if someone could develop a photoshop plugin.
@Arun Raj sure, why not :)
The red is too dark, but i love colours.
@Juani Ruiz Echazú - any luck with updating the shadow direction in real-time based on the mouse position? I have a really cool concept if you get that working!!
@Chris Allen haha no man. Didn't find the time to do anything else to this :(
Blast, well I'll be patient then! I'll post what I'm working on soon so you can see why I'd love to implement a dynamic long shadow script.
What's with the /* you do realize this makes no sense, right?
don't use this. /* comment?
