I have to say that I found it a little difficult to understand what the grey bars are for on the sidebar? I'm assuming it's for word-count? Might be easier to make the link if there were a number present, perhaps inline/floated right?

Also noticed that the drop-caps are overlapping on some pages but other than that I really like it Jack, top work.

Good point Jack. I wanted to give a subtle indication of the length of the article without calling too much attention to the word count. Hmm...

Thanks for pointing out the dropcaps too. Looks like there's some cross-browser funkiness with the way I styled them.
