Commemorating an Indian friend with a love of the near indescribable spice. Everything is now yellow at my house, but my MacBook never smelled so good.
I needed an initial sketch for this one, as I'm only slightly familiar with Arabic on a whole, much less Diwani style. Please see the full size image and assorted details in the attachments!
Also launching my new tumblr, foodtypography.com for the latest in tasty design. Also on twitter and instagram!

This is so insane! Great Job.
Beautiful! I'm curious, how large are you generally working with these?
Well done Danielle. I love this type of work.
So good Danielle – sooo good

@Jason @Rob @Ryan @Jorge @RaitG @Radu @Davide @Owen and @Mark- Thank you gents so much! I'm so thrilled to see most of you as repeat viewers, and your accolades mean the world to me!
@Kyle, that is the highest of compliments. Thanks for viewing!
@Mandy, thanks! These vary significantly, which caused me to start this three times on different surfaces (the first two weren't big enough, now they're stained :P). Check out my instagram for some context. I believe it was about 28x 18"?
:D looks great, Danielle
Thanks @Gergana! I was worried no one would look at the full size shot, but I'm glad you did. :)
