Very nice layout. But the animations are too slow.
Still a great site!
@Filip Raatz Thank you for feedback! We will make animations faster.
Clicking on the dots as the only for of navigation is really really bad UX. They are primarily indicators, rather than buttons.
Also, you guys are breaking several apple guideline rules on this site.
1. Using the wrong App Store button.
2. Cropping and/or covering assets.
3. Not putting the legal copy in the footer for the use of their assets and logo.
The hover states on the main menu doesn't work well at all for me, they disappear on the majority of your background photos.
There is no consistency in your hover states, some links underline, some change colour, some don't change at all, some remove underlines.
And the animations are too slow.
@Ryan Murphy Hi Ryan! Thank you for your feedback. Most of all are things we know. Our website is one year old (and done in quite busy and rush time) and now we would like to redesign it. I hope I will find some time to redesign our web and make it better!
@Ryan Murphy I think using dots for navigation is allready learned today and not a bad user experience. Have a look at the website of apple for example. It works fine.
@Filip Raatz They use them as indicators rather than functions. Note that the have arrows on the left and right of the section.
Big UX difference.
@Ryan Murphy Didn't found the arrows, thats also not a good ux ;)
@Filip Raatz Could be, could well be a bad user ;)
They appear on hover, as you'd expect. The dots indicate that there are other slides, the natural user progression is to click where the arrows are on Apple's site.
@Ryan Murphy @Filip Raatz Thank you guys. I sent mail to our website developer to add arrows to our website. I think it going to be better with that.
@Ryan Murphy Great, this is exactly what a feedback on dribbble should be :)
@Pavel Huza If we all did our bit :)
@Ryan Murphy I pressed "L" on your comment ;P
Please add -webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased, it is very difficult to read that text when it's that bold and fuzzy. Looks good otherwise!
@Victor Erixon thank you! We will email our website developer.
@Victor Erixon bad practice.
nice. pressed L
@The Funtasty @Ryan Murphy @Filip Raatz
Also, there is usually a huge drop off in views on secondary slides. I always try to design buttons in addition to the arrows that tells you what is in the second slide.
@Ryan Murphy @Filip Raatz Arrows added :-)
@The Funtasty Sexy :)
