I like the addition of the lines. It still is really clever, but feels more official and understandable.

Glow on the active one is a little too subtle... maybe tighten it back up towards the glass and raise the opacity a tad? It's nice that things are brown but the lack of contrast (on buttons for example) is a bit annoying.

Hey bro! I'm digging this and would love to see it in the wild. A couple quick thoughts:
*I really liked the dimension that the glasses had here and it seems like adding that back in to the rating would be a nice tough. Right now it seems a bit off since the glass is slightly rounded but the rating, or fill, is straight.
*Take this one with a grain of salt but it feels very monochromatic. Everything kinda blends together a bit. That's not necessarily a bad thing but it might be nice to add a splash of color in places to help the eye path.

I'm digging the lines. It makes it obvious the glass is segmented, more clearly defines the potential options for the user, and keeps the fill line from being vague.

For me the addition of the lines also solves the "is full or empty better" argument. I was struggling with that visual metaphor in the earlier iterations, but not feeling that struggle anymore. I think the full-is-better is more understandable for most users, although maybe not as clever.

    Really good work, Matthew.

Really like this. The one suggestion is that the different shades of beer "fullness" is a little confusing. I would have a single shade for the beer.
