Clean screen Brian, great use of space. Question - would the map go full screen if clicked on (so the hiker could get a more detailed view) or is this just the overview/info page?
I'd be interested to see how the map is handled when the trail zigzags or is in a vertical orientation.
♥ Looks promising!
Really nice but following Apple's iOS 7 HIG guidelines, status bar's background is useless.
Really clean, nice work!
Except of icons in status bar I don't see any step towards iOS 7. Too much shadows still, what is not friendly with the native apps. Whole nav bar is old-fashioned I think. iOS7 uses mostly 100% width elements sticked to the screen corners, without any boxes.
Completely agree with @Konrad Kolasa.
Looks just like Facebook :( same layout
Looks clean! Interesting combo of Facebook and Foursquare's iPhone UI.
Hmm. It’s still got all the characteristics of pre-iOS7 design. The subtle texturing and shadows everywhere is all going to start feeling a lot more foreign from here on out. What’s keeping you from jumping in all the way? Go nuts!!
Free opinion: it’d be better to stick with Helvetica Neue better than using a custom typeface. There’s a lot to be gained from using Helvetica Neue in iOS 7, especially from an accessibility standpoint. Here’s a fairly concise breakdown on the hot new Text Kit tech available to developers: http://typographica.org/on-typography/beyond-helvetica-the-real-story-behind-fonts-in-ios-7/
Nice, but would be better if you embraced iOS 7 wholeheartedly, not halfheartedly.
