Looks good! Has a nice shape to it. Looks like it should be used in some kind of fantasy novel.

Beautiful! When will it be available?
That lowercase g is just perfect.
Spacing too tight, "a" won't work in text size.
Almost looks art nouveau-ish, very pretty.
Tymn: won't be available for a long while. just started it and working on it through the summer
sandro: yes, i think the a and s might need to be modified if you were going to use it under 14pt
The 'w' is all WordPressy.. love it. :)
what a nice personality that typeface has. I love the /e/
Lovely. Makes me immediately think of intertitles.
Loving this, the lowercase 'g' reminds me a little of mrs eaves which can only be a good thing!
Is this from your classes at Cooper Type, or a side project?
cooper type! it's my rest-of-the-course project. will be light book bold and display with italics i think!
Love this. Let me know when I can give you all my money to get my hands on it.
This would tell a sophisticated fairy tale nicely.
Very nice, Jessica.
I'm a sucker for Arts & Crafts!
I think: the -y- is a bit too wide; the -v- looks like it is falling backwards a bit, the left stroke at too much of an angle; and while the -a- and -s- are too closed for text you could always do something similar to this for the display; perhaps the f and t need to share a common cross-stroke height; watch the notches at the bases of the letters where stems and bowls meet (a, b, d) because they can look pronounced but at text sizes not be enough (although I'm not sure because this image isn't hi-res enough).
The reason the angle of the first stroke on the y is working and the v is not is because the y has the tail to balance it out.
thanks Tiffany! I think I'm going to put together a pdf when I have the upper and lower alphabets done so you can have a looksee. I think this screen grab is just pretty low res too
Yay for a Hische text face! Love the soft bifurcated terminals and the slighty curved right arm on the "v" & "w". Can't wait to see the italics and display faces :) The diamond-shaped superscript dot on the "i" is a nice touch as well. Great work.
Points to you, Alonzo. I couldn't remember the word "bifurcated", while I was writing up my thoughts.
Love the feel of it - I wouldn't mind owning a few books set in this, gives me a little feeling of joyful coziness, somehow. I'm not sure I'm fond of that lower g though, that tail seems just a tad too curly to me.
Ha! Thanks Tiffany!
alonzo, there's no diamond shape dot, i think i should post a closer view, haha, people are seeing things that aren't there because of the resolution
