I just had a crazy week (moving from flat to flat), but I made some progress on this project, which is coming together very nicely. These are some iOS7 chat screens I quite like. I also got Android and iPad versions, which I might show too, if you want :) What do you think?

to R u zprávy znamená že je to přečtený?
@Lukáš Kus diky, přesně tak;)
Dont like iOS7 ideas but i like you design :) For example what is going to happen when there will be really long text on the top bar next to the text button. Just wierd anyways keep going!
Have you extended the title bar all the way up to the status bar? I don't like including them on the same level (due to hierarchy reasoning), but iOS 7 does merge them... sadly.
@Luboš Volkov thanks! I don't like things like new button style and some typographic choices, but other than I guess that it grew on me. It's different thought and probably good way for iOS future. And in case of long text, I guess it has to be shortened like it's common on iOS ;)
@Mitchell Bernstein thanks for your feedback!
I agree. I have version like that too and it doesn't look that bad, but it's still weird. We might use it when iOS7 is released, but since we are looking for sooner release, this is sort of middle stage and than we'll see.
Thank you @Avinash Tripathi
Looks good, nice idea with backgrounds on the navbar. :-)
@Lukas Troup Thank you :)
I think the text font is way too small for an iPhone. It borders to being unreadable. Think about that I want to see this on the go, while walking or standing in the bus.
Why don’t you use the full width for the images?
Overall it looks like a flat version of a typical chat app. Which can be a good thing for usability, but I am asking myself where the UX has been enhanced.
@Henning von Vogelsang thanks for feedback! Good ideas. Readibility was obviously issue since we are using light font for iOS, but I did lot of testing and feel comfortable with it.
Full width images are not very good for flow of messaging. Other than that sure it is pretty similar to other apps, but our goal isn't to be most original, but well functioning with great UI. I'll look at it though:)
Sure, @Michael Dolejš, I also didn’t mean to say it does not look nice. Being unobtrusive is a UX quality you have in this interface. But I think iOS 7 emphasizes the use of full screen width in general, and letting the content breathe. So maybe the images shouldn’t be border-to-border, but they could be bigger, I think.
Anyway, I am in the process of working on a new text-based communication app in stealth mode, so I am constantly thinking about these things.
@Henning von Vogelsang I didn't take it that way. I agree with you, but we landed more on traditional approach. I understand, it's tough:)
