For the first time ever, I am giving away one of my original block carvings. This is one of my first ever block carvings. The rose block print has never been for sale, I used this print as a little give away for a few years with orders.
I felt like it was time to retire this block and now you have the opportunity to win the actual block and print to your hearts content;0) If you'd be interested, tweet this post @strawcastle, and you will be in the running to win!
This would also make a cool little piece of art un to itself. I will pick a winner at some point next Monday, July 1st!

Dude, this rocks. Love ur stuff man.
Beautiful piece Derrick. Love the depth and overlaps of those those vines in the print.
Wow! Looks awesome
Amazing, as always!
For a moment there, I thought it was a notebook. Free idea.
No way! I've been sort of obsessed with your work since I first saw it. Then found out you live in Nashville. If you see someone standing outside your window at night, it's not me....promise.
@Kevin Burr haha, yeah man! I love Nashville, born and raised! I think we need to do a dribbble meet up of all the Nashville based folks. I was at the Porter Flea a few weeks ago and was really surprised how many people there had active dribbble accounts.
@Leonardo Falaschini haha totally! Great idea;0)
@Derrick Castle Oh yeah, Nashville is pretty awesome. It gets better every day. I'd love to do a Nashville dribbble meet up. Count me in. Ok, so I had to look up what the "Porter Flea" is. Kind of bummed about missing the June 1st event. I'll make the next one. Anyways, good to hear from you man and happy Friday!
Beautiful. You inspire me to try my hand at block carving some day.
Damnit, I'm too late!
