I think it would be fun to design a full typeface, so I'm going to take a stab at drawing some glyphs and see where this goes. I know almost nothing about Illustrator, and this is a good reason to learn it.
These letters are based off some ideas I sketched a few weeks ago. Pretty crude, but enough to get things moving.
Tried using FontStruct to re-create my drawings, but unfortunately the pieces you're given with don't provide sufficient control for what I'm trying to do (particularly with the slope of curves; you basically have one choice of slope).
FontStruct is definitely fun to mess around with, and maybe I'll use it to create a full font someday, but for now I'm going to stick with vector tools that give me a bit more control.
