Nice - I'd almost like to see the "designer and front end developer" line flipped to read the same way as your name. Sort of like a postmark. Just a thought.
Hey Matt - this is really nice. It feels a little bottom heavy - what about if you used another dot between 'designer' and 'front end developer', instead of the ampersand? Maybe to include a little more whitespace in the lower half? Just a thought!
@Jonathan, @Anthony: I have flipped the lower text out to read the same as my name.. looks much better, thanks.
@Ray I see what you mean.. unfortunately, the single dot isn't enough to break it up.
I have changed the bottom text to be a bit more specific about what I do: "DESIGN • HTML • CSS • JS • IA • UX".
It looks a little more balanced now.
One suggestion I received via twitter was to change the "m" to a slab serif - what are everyone else's thoughts?
I personally quite liked the "m" I chose, but if it doesn't fit with everyone else, then it needs changing.

My previous logo didn't seem to work well in various situations... so this is a new one I'm playing with.

Nice work Matt. I'd agree with Jonathan about flipping the 'designer & front developer' line.
Nice texture and feel!

Matt, you're the man in control. Change it to a slab and see how it looks!
Personally, I prefer the casual script of the 'm' now.
