It's been about 1 year since we designed the user interface of the core product. Since then, we've been building and revamping features. At this point, we have a large UI library and new features can be built quickly.
While keeping the same basic framework, I've taken some time to explore this very early concept in order to get a fresh perspective and spark some creativity.
Anyhow, we'd love to know your thoughts!

Really liking the dark sidebar which draws attention to the content, flatter UI elements, sticky toolbar, new loader, updated avatar styles, new icons, white space...dang, pretty much a huge improvement all around
Nice work @Mason
Why not have the bottom bar just the width of the left menu? Seems silly to have it all the way across.
i love the dual-color icons, why didn't I think of that?!
@Avinash @Ricardo @Kyle Thanks, fellas! Kyle You seem to know the product well. :)
@Oscar Great suggestion! That is actually how it is implemented in the live version right now. I just forgot about that detail while working on this early concept.
@Mason Yarnell Love this. It feels like such a natural progression. Well done, Dude!
Damn, nice! Only potential issue I have is that it's a bit hard to read 'Name' on that semi transparent grey/purp. I'd maybe make it pop a little more.
** ignore that, it's only when it's over an avatar. Looks amazing for all the other labels and im sure it would hardly ever be over an avatar anyway!
Love the little details... the multicolored tiny icons, the subtle border near the back arrow, the small brand mark below the table... so much to appreciate.
@Tanguy @Tony Thanks guys!
Canadian @Dave, you know best!
@Tim Excellent point! The transparency might be a bit of an overkill.
@Ted Thank you, sir! I always appreciate your comments.
Nice work! I really like the overall layout and look and feel. I would punch up the text color to make the content more accessible.
@Jason You are right! I do tend to gravitate toward lighter text colors. Going darker would make sense.
The iconography is brilliant @Mason Yarnell
I agree with @Oscar Waczynski, unless there are more UI elements that will be placed on the bottom in other screens.
love the clean feel and colours! Great work!
very clean work
So clean.. Love those icons!
Nailed it (again). I'm really digging where this stuff is and is heading.
really nice use of 2 tones on the icons.
@Nick @Michal @Josh @Ghulamali @Chris @Thomas @Antoun Thanks very much, guys!
@Shane Definitely. There may be some elements necessary to add to the bottom right, but otherwise, we would remove part of the bottom toolbar.
its very cool!
