next on the list is the lockscreen :)
i wanted to make it easier for the user to understand exactly how to unlock the device (existing users will know). the new iOS7 unlock doesn't have a background but has the arrow for oppening the control centre, this arrow is very close to the unlock
to a new user this arrow seems like the first place to try as the arrow is pointing up giving the user an indication as to where to slide. I wanted to give a little affordance back to the unlock and also change the control centre handle along with the notifications handle.
many more screens to come with iOS7 tweaks and changes :)
real pixels as always attached.

A good improvement. Not sure i'm feeling the neon gradients though.
cheers @Joe Baker, @Kenil Bhavsar :)
The neon gradients was just a wallpaper that for some reason i can't sop looking at lol it's just eye catching but can be changed.
My upcoming shots have the mavericks wallpaper ;)
Damn! this is lovely. I look forward to seeing more of this! :)

so this is a big one :)
i've gone and made 4 new screens for this shot, each screen is what i would like to see in the new Photos app of iOS 7.
since iOS7 has changed photos into years, collections and moments there was still a lot of things that needed tweaked and some things that needed a little tidy
i've neatened up the topbar and added some affordance to the buttons, the current buttons on iOS7 are just labels and have no visual representation of a button = makes me sad. i've also remade the icons on the footer to be more smooth on the corners, less harsh on the eyes
all 4 screens (Years, Collections, Moments, Selection) have been attached along with the 2 versions of the moments screen
thanks all for the love on my previous iOS7 shots :)

Ahh... much better! marvelous!
similiar to jelly bean
yep- this is the way it should be.
I think you could solve this just by changing "slide to unlock" to "swipe to unlock". Yet your mockup is really cool.
thanks @Denis Rojčyk. I thought the same with changing the label but the main concern was the arrow being so close to a floating label. With there being no other element on the screen and no hint as to what direction to swipe/slide it would be difficult on the first glance for a new iOS user.
Perhaps a new label is still needed :) they are changing everything else so why not just a simple "unlock".
since you guys have given this shot so much love, i have attached another 4 alternatives :)
each with a different style background just to see how it would look on different types of wallpapers.
thanks again you guys are all awesome
much much much smarter! bravo
