   Enjoying this project a lot! Still not sure about the auto-complete style! It doesn't help to have it start in the wood but go to top of a white sheet of paper :D

   Overall it's very nice, but there are a couple of things that I would change (some are just personal taste):

   › slightly bigger arrow
   › rounded corners (5-10px) on the auto-complete panel
   › remove the borders on the sides of the selected item
   › the first item on the auto-complete panel looks bigger, I'm not sure if it should be
   › the "white" text (navigation) on the top of the wooden background gets a little bit hard to read
   › get rid of the serif font

   although I would leave the blank space as it is ;)

   Nice!

   I agree with everything Pedro said... as for the 1px gray border, if you change that to 50% (give or take) opaque black, it will look good over the white and the wood.
