@Tony: Ha I knew this would come up :) I guess I may be in the minority but I hate the "make one/make all" limitations. I understand the value of consistency but also feel the importance of variety and making that available when needed. Placing the squared corners on the tabs subtly opens up the opportunity to reuse a similar treatment elsewhere. In the full design all my base elements keep a consistent corner radius but have a few alternating variables on other elements. I think of it as a way of visually distributing relavent cues.
Looks nice: good colors, clear interface! Small suggestion maybe: if the tab labels are definite (and don't need to be translated to other languages), I'd probably try moving the watch names (?) to the left a few pixels and the arrows to the right a few pixels so they line up with the tab labels. Just for extra tightness.
