This will be going up in a couple of days while my main portfolio site gets put together!
I have seen a lot of these little simple personal sites going up and would love to hear what people think to them instead of a full portfolio site?

It's perfect for a temp site... Work on your title a little more. Since you are a UI designer you probably pay attention to the little details. So how about "2 shot, one sugar mocha" something like that instead of just saying coffee ;)
@Frederik Samuel prime I like that! I will have a play around thank you!
I have definitely been seeing a lot more of these too. I feel it's become a lot more acceptable to simply rely on communities like dribbble/Behance etc. for your portfolio, but they only give you a certain amount of flexibility with which to express yourself ;)
Looks nice anyway! Good work!
Simple. I like this.
@Trent McBride many thanks! I agree, with Behance for projects and Dribbble for snapshots everything is pretty much covered but I do like to have my own personal space on the web
@James Fletcher thanks man much appreciated!
I’d have to agree with @Trent McBride. In fact, I’m currently using that same pattern on my site. I did it more because I wanted to focus on writing, but it felt redundant to host a portfolio on my site when I knew I would be replicating the content on Behance and Dribbble. Plus it’s a nice way to integrate social into your content strategy ;-)
P.S. I love the paper airplane metaphor for email!
Clean and straight to the point. Brilliant work @ben dunn!
Minimal and clean...like it :)
That's very nice, a perfect temporary page :)
And many thanks for the debut like ;)
@Stoo your welcome it looks cool
