I tried my hand at a Tennessee logo some 6 years ago on MS Paint. I found it hidden deep in the family computer and thought it deserved a second chance. I think it's safe to say I have improved.

cool illustration. great work
You think maybe you might try squaring out those shoulders some? Right now they look a good bit too round...almost like a, well, woman's bra. It may also help if you try to fill in some more of the area bounded by the epaulets and bottom jaw line. That's really about the only part of this I see that bugs me...but other than that, one heckuva jump from '07 to '13. (And that Tennessee shape hidden in the butt stock of that rifle in plain sight is pretty genius.)
Now all I can see is a bra. Square shoulders it is.

Squared up the shoulders, played around with the face a bit, etc etc.

This is the last Navy shot I'll throw at you. I tried a redesign back in 2006, I think I've developed since.
