Logo Concept for Living Land Farm +

Here's a small collection of concept logos and branding I created for my friends at Living Land Farm. Living Land is all about trees, bees, and fungi. Their creative direction is all about highlighting these things and creating a scene where trees, bees, and fungi are living in harmony.

A major challenge with this logo was scaling. Tees are huge in comparison to mushrooms and bees. So I had to figure out a way to put a tree beside a mushroom and a tree beside a bee where each element was large enough to be visible, even at small scales. The solution was to play with the depth of the logo, and place the tree further back in the scene, which opened up the foreground for the bees and fungi.

The designs were drawn in Photoshop with my favourite "crusty" brush, and the type was set in Illustrator.
