Often when I open up a sketchbook I have hopes and dreams that I'm going to create a masterpiece. In my head I'm building something beautiful, but then reality hits and it comes out something like this: Poop
Just keepin' it real up in here :) This was my day. #DribbbleScribbble™

I like sketches!
Nice grid book... sketches are sweet too ;)
@Josh Hemsley we each have our specialities buddy:) you are the master in the digital domain. and you should see the the garbage I put in my poor moleskins......haha. your stuff is always an inspiration, brother!
What starts out as poop gets refined until it looks like gold. It's how we roll. Is that an Action Method grid book?
Sometimes the hand doesn't do what the brain thinks it should. As long as the idea is captured it can be translated to awesomeness later on..
Reminds me of Leonardo Da Vinci ;-)
It's Josh's secret manual! Quick! Download!
Embrace it, sketches are like wireframes, they should be ugly, they're for communicating an idea not an aesthetic.
Anyway your sketches are beautiful compared to the childlike scrawls I make in my overpriced journals :-)
Oh haha thanks everyone. Didn't mean to play the sympathy card there, but I'll take the encouragement. :) I'm ok with my poop scribbles, since they help translate ideas and problems out of my head. Its my way of thinking out loud without talking :)
@Chris Young yes it is.
Definitely looks more organized then my sketchbook...for sure.
Who makes that sketchbook? @Josh Hemsley
