This is a visualisation (graph) of the SES (shortest edit script) algorithm Kaleidoscope uses to calculate the differences in text files. Visible are the 3 steps (pink/purple/blue), from opposing sides, it has taken the algorithm to find the shortest sequence of steps.
This is the custom font (kapitals and small caps) I have designed for a webpage dedicated to the text compare engine in Kaleidoscope. The design and font was inspired on the Shortest Eddit Script algorithm visualisation I did a while ago.

The visual style reminds me of a constellation map. Super neat algorithm viz Jasper.
