They did a great job with the switch IMO. Tried to recreate the transition, this is atleast what I saw .

@Nash Vail as for the knob: I love it!
Actually, this is very contradictory to Ive's philosophy. He says everything has to be simple and logic and effective. Sure, it looks simple, but how is this logic? It keeps the resemblance to the physical switch, but the animation of the background color doesn't makes any sense. But I admit, the effect is nice.
@Ondrej Jób I agree, this does kill the physical metaphor
It kills the physical metaphor, but isn't the exactly what flat design is supposed to do?
@Andrew Johnson I meant the transition kills the physical metaphor, they could have used the same transition as on iOS 6 minus the gradient and the gloss
This is the only thing that I liked on the iOS7 )
@Ondrej Jób there's a lot of things that contradict his supposed philosophy in iOS 7.
@Nash Vall I understand what you meant, I'm just saying, they abandoned Skeuomorphism because they wanted to kill the physical metaphor. So I don't understand why it would be bad to kill that metaphor in iOS7?
Looks great! And the effect is nice. But you are missing the little stretch that the nob has when it is being pulled from on to off and vice-versa. It's not actually a perfect circle when being pulled, more like an oval. Let me know if this makes sense haha.
@Adam T. Rodriguez yes, i noticed that as well. definetely one of the only good UI elements to be in iOS 7
Only the animation are realy great in iOS 7.
Nice work @Nash Vail
