@ Matthew - Not sure how Sebastian did it, but you can do multiple ways ... one would be to group all of the icons in one folder as a back up, then merging it flat, and applying a gradient map over it. Another would be to group them all, and applying a gradient map over the whole thing, although that becomes a little harder to use if there is depth between each icon and requires placement of layer to create the depth.
