Corona Warrior Corps Logo

My wife is a nurse on the COVID floors at a hospital in Lowell, Mass. I wanted to make something to serve as a symbol for her and her coworkers that had some hope to it but still looked like a serious medical symbol.

The symbol was created to be used by anyone who wants to show visual support for a frontline warrior against the coronavirus.

This symbol is public domain/Creative Commons Zero licensed. A PDF with source files and variations is attached to this shot.

The center is meant to represent a coronavirus particle. This is a simplified form based on the CDC's illustration.

The 4 semi-circles represent healthcare workers, grocery/food service workers, local/state/federal government, and the general public. It emphasizes how these significant groups can contain and manage the disease together.

The circles do not connect to show risk of spread to these groups, and the continuing vigilance that is needed

The outer circle is for the future containment and reduced spread of the virus.
