I'm playing around with a type-only logo for a blog about books (foxed and fine are book seller terms). I'd like the ampersand to be more of a tobacco brown, but then there's not enough contrast against the "d" in Foxed.
Might work if you place the & between words but still bleeding below and above for emphasis. Or add some green to the words so the red in the tobacco has more contrast.
