I was unhappy with the last version, mainly due to color choices. I'm thinking this is where we're going to end up. Or something close to it. This is at least a good starting point.

i think v2 was stronger: it provided more visual contrast between sections and focused you on the content. here, the arrangement and colors have my eye bouncing all over. i also think there might be too many lines of copy next to icons; it's feeling a bit crowded.
i'm wondering if you need the icons in this one given that you have headlines that describe the section. seems like simple "+" or "-" might do the trick.
anyway, just thought id share some thoughts. cheers.
That's a fair assessment. Unfortunately, our users have continuously emphasized the importance of information density. They hate whitespace! It's rather frustrating, but it's what I've got to work with. So, anything that gets them more updates on the page at once makes them happy.
For instance, that small space between the job changes and the headline change? Yeah, I'm going to get shit for that ;)
thats crazy! white space is so important to frame information...oh well. feel your pain. good luck!
