WIP (incomplete) icon - zoom view of a section of envelope w/ wax seal.
The highlights/shadows do look strong for the text, but after many (many) trials, this variation looks best on the iPhone.
To do: central pigeon foot/wing stamp.

love the wax seal, i'm pretty sure removing the text and leaving just the pigeon foot would be better.

Very nice work. Agree with Juan Gomez on the text. Icons shouldn't contain any text if you can help it.

@Juan & @Seb Thanks gents! It could possibly work without text and just the stamp - something I'll try when working on it again. I don't however, believe text should be outlawed - it can 'work' if used sparingly and appropriately!

After trying many focal stamps, I am finally happy with this variation*.
The majority of 'real life' wax seals tend to be initials/letters, which is probably why I think the traditional look works best.
