    This looks excellent. Couple of suggestions:

    - Would the icon of the businessman look better without the gradient? It currently doesn't seem to fit with the flat-aesthetic of the rest of the design.
    - The shadow under the navigation items seems a tad strong.
    - Would the legibility of the navigation text improve with a subtle dark-red 0 1px 0 drop shadow?
    - Finally, the baselines of the "Lorem ipusm.." and the "You maintain.." text don't align.

    David, thanks for your input. I had already lightened the shadow on the ribbons and have chosen a simple set of glyph icons for the icons. (The client supplied those gradient icons). Will give the navigation text a try with the red drop shadow suggestion. Likely the content text will be indented slightly from its original position as the design has change a little. Nice observations, thanks for your input, always nice to hear constructive feedback!
