Been a long time since I've posted, very excited on the progress on this one. Taking a new direction with the IRIS site (http://iris.thegiin.org). Would love to hear your thoughts! Banner graphic was illustrated to be a 3d chart / play on some mountains perhaps. Full version attached.
Also worth noting -- this is my first full concept using Sketch2, have been loving it! Great tool for UI!

I'm diggin' those colors. Nice.
@Josh Lasdin Nice man! A couple things I noticed:
- The top nav items could use some left and right padding. Also, I'm not sure what the icon is on each right away, I'm guessing they somehow point externally.
- Some of the icons on the centerpiece graphic are inconsistent – the water, plant and corn look similar, but not the rest.
- The shading on orange spikes the graphic could be a smidge softer to me – the noise appears sharp enough to come off as a low quality image.
Awesome direction though! So much improvement :)
@Daniel Haire - Thanks!
@Ryan McLaughlin - These are some great thoughts. I definitely agree the nav could use a smidge more padding. There's going to be some slight interaction with the icons to give some context and point you further into the site. These icons are from an older iteration of the site, so we don't really have much control over them. Thanks for the feedback!
