Wakaliwood

Wakaliwood is a film studio based in Wakaliga, a slum in Uganda's capital, Kampala. They are known for their ultra-low budget ($200) ultra-violent movies, such as "Who Killed Captain Alex?", "Bad Black", and "Tebaatusasula".

I got pretty obsessed with these films back then, to the point I dropped them an e-mail like: "Hey man, I can do a logo pro bono... Please let me help you!".

Some guy named Alan answered, really thankful and very excited. We made it to an actual emblem, a crest. They kept it, and It makes me REALLY proud.

Now, Captain Alex can wear his Wakaliwood cap.
