Sketching around in Illustrator. Some feedback would be highly appreciated!
If you think the main idea works I'm going to refine it and work on the final look (I know there's still a lot to do to make it perfect). Just wanted to wait with that until I've heard your opinions. Thanks in advance!
Edit 25.7.2013: Just posted my refined and probably final version in the dribbble+threadless playoff >> http://dribbble.com/shots/1170449-Brainstorm-Inc-T-Shirt?list=following

mmm ....this is not a storm, is a tornado, and not just see the texture of the brain, or not understood. If you place the illustration without type you hardly think in "BrainStorm"
Perhaps, as an idea, you can make the shape of brain as a cloud and rays or rain out of this, like a cloud-storm-brain.
Hope I help you.
@Edu Torres @Florian Grunt - But a tornado or hurricane could be considered a type of very violent storm, could it not?
I think the concept is a good one, Florian :)
@Andrew Terpening Yes, is true that a violent storm also can spawn tornadoes. but in my opinion, I think if you want to make a metaphor, it is much clearer to maintain the shape of the brain that do not adapt the texture of a brain in a tornado, which makes it much more difficult comprehension. I'm not saying it's wrong to associate a storm a tornado, but maybe not the best choice. This is just my opinion because the requested feedback.
@Edu Torres @Andrew Terpening
Wow, there's a big discussion going on ;)
I think Edu is right, that there is a difference between a storm and a tornado. Maybe I should have done better research / translation before I start to work. For me a storm was automatically a tornado, but a storm is only a strong wind, isn't it? And a tornado is wind that goes up into the sky like a cone.
I just found this when I googled "brainstorm logo" >> http://rexgios.deviantart.com/art/Brainstorm-Clothing-155342699
I think this one is already the perfect and "correct" solution for my idea.
The big question is now, if people still recognize the meaning behind my intention - the words "brain" and "storm".
However, thanks for your honest words and your feedback!
@Edu Torres @Florian Grunt - Perhaps what Edu says is true, as far as recognition it might be difficult for others to realize what it is. I do, however still feel it was a good thought, as it is different than I've seen for "Brain storm" before :)
Like the Idea!

@Edu Torres @Andrew Terpening @Vivek
Your controverse feedback motivated me to go on and improve my idea. I hope that it now works as it should.
I submitted it in the dribbble+threadless playoff as I thought it is perfect now (for me).
Do you think that my idea is now visualized better?!? Feedback is still allowed ;)
