    There's a lot of gray in there. In fact, 99% of it is gray area.

    Being an extremist will only appeal to a small portion of people. Meanwhile alienating the vast majority and making enemies of the other end of the spectrum.

    Is this an ambiguous host? Sure. Am I going somewhere with it? Yep.

    Terry, in a way you're right, positionally speaking.

    What I'm questioning is the dichotomy of thinking about something as black or white without at least considering or acknowledging the gray area. Having a one-sided stance is fine really, we need people like that. But you can acknowledge the gray area without compromising your integrity to what you believe.
