Farmhouse chicken pie - Weekly warm-up

This is a recipe I learnt from my mother that I absolutely love cooking. When I saw the weekly warm-up playoff, I thought of this recipe immediately.

Luckily, I had cooked this recently and had taken a photo, so all that was left was to write up a method and an ingredients list! This pie is absolutely delicious, I'd love to hear if anybody tries it.

The filling is great as a sauce for pasta too, if pastry isn't your thing.
