Im currently working on the new Ui for DR-2. I really want to make the update feel like a natural progression as opposed to a completely new product. One of the ui details I was keen to keep where the colourful icons.
On the left we have the original DevRocket icons and on the right the new look DR2 ones. I think the new icons look really refreshing in comparison, what do you think?

The new ones look great. They feel nice together as well. Good choice of colours.
These look great @Norm , like the first one the most with all the devices. Will this update be free to current DR users?
Love the updated icons; refreshing color palette!
I like them all!
Although, I'm wondering if the new @2x feels clear enough...
@Tycho Klein Severt ⚜ yeah update is totally free to current users, It will be released around the time of this years WWDC.
@Miguel Oliva Márquez that feature has changed a lot, it's now a full export tool as opposed to just an @2x image saver. That's why the icon is different.
I see, looking forward to it!
Nice details without over complicating!
The new ones look better, the original looks like the 8bits icons :p
I had no clue what the third icon was untill I saw the floppy on the left. Yes they look nice(r) but nope they aren't good enough to replace the current icons
Really like the little dock (docklet?) as part of the second one.
@Davey Heuser the third one will make more sense when you find out how I've expanded the saving features, its more of an export icon now. Shame you dont think these are up to scratch as replacements, I guess you cant keep everyone happy.
@Norm I really like them. But I think on the second and third icon is too much going on. I think they will be better more "flat" in terms of content.
I still like the first ones more. I feel that they have more character. I really like the contrast, too. Although, I'm not the hugest fan of the flat aesthetic in the first place so I may be a bit biased ;)
I also prefer the original ones. There is too much going on in the new icons. They look good though, well executed. I don't want to go into the "flat" discussion but i'm not a fan like @Jordan Borth
