Argesta Type Specimen from Atipo Foundry

I'm not sure why, but I'm a little obsessed with type-first designs. In that vein, I've always wanted to do a type specimen. Atipo Foundry (atipofoundry.com) just released a new font, Argesta, and I thought it would make a great subject.

The content for the specimen is J.R.R. Tolkien's Silmarillion, a long-time favorite of mine. I had lots of fun working on indexes, charts, lyrics, pull quotes, and of course a map.
