Here's a pie chart I've been working on for Scaligent new website.
- Full view
It would be used to present in an interactive way the different companies the guys are coming from. I took some time to work on the colors, trying to fit them with each company brand while still trying to keep an harmony through the chart.
In term of interactions, when you hover a slice it becomes bigger and the avatars of the people appear, while the rest of the team and companies are faded out. Make sure to check the bigger view to have a real sense of it.
Feedback always welcomed, thanks!

That's a nice concept. There are seven sections on the left hand side, but only six company titles though? Looks cool, dude.
@Zander Brade woops! You're right man, looks like I forgot to reactivate the layer.
@Barry Mccalvey thanks!
Great concept! Just one question: what if the guys from a company are more than 5? 10 for example.. the slice become bigger and the other slices super-thinner? Maybe it could be never be, just saying :) Great work however!
@Enzo Li Volti Very good point! Actually I've thought about this a bit. I know that the chart and number of people on it won't change too much for a while, so right now it wouldn't be an issue. However I do agree with more and more people coming, I'll have to find another way to display the avatars other than on the slices. :) Thanks for the input!
Love the color palette!
So engaging! One of the most unique and impressive ways to present team members that I've ever seen.
Also, you spelled it "Compagnies" XD
great work on that one!
it's going to be a very good user experience when implemented.
Great Job done
Nice work :)
@Isaac Paavola damn, mixing French with English, happens all the time :-/
I like the colors and format for the chart. It looks very clean and nice but I don't like the shadowing. The line in the background indicates a 3d space and that the chart is "standing" on the ground, but the ground shadow is too spread out and dark for it to be realistic.
@Joakim Keussen you're right, I've just tried reducing the shadow size and making it more subtle and it looks already better. Thanks for the feedback man!
@Jonathan Moreira Great job done! Keep it up...!
Jonathan, i'm loving this stuff, dude. Some really great and unique ideas for showing off the team. Keep up the awesome work.
This looks great dude :)
Thanks @Charles Riccardi and @Christophe Tauziet means a lot coming from you!
I keep seeing this and I love it.
This is so awesome.
