nice and clean. One suggestion though: seems like the drop-down button would be a little small and hard to hit. Perhaps some padding is in order? just a thought.
Have you thought about integrating it with the actual title itself, a la click the dropdown and the title actually becomes part of the list? That's the approach I'm taking on Melody's blog selector.
@Jake – In using it, I don't think it's too hard to hit. It's about the size of a "normal" action-able icon: 16x16.
@Josh – As for the imbalance, I can see your point. I'm still working out how the menu relates to the button itself.
@Jesse – Funny you mention it. I tried this first, but it was just too jarring to have the title either: [1] Enclosed in the list (Text is so huge), or [2] Change the size of the title to match the list (Made the title seem jumpy).
Great suggestions though guys, always glad to hear feedback from discerning designers! :)

Just a quick drop-down list, to replace what might otherwise be a <select> list.

I can't say I'm a big fan. It just seems like there's too much coming out of that little double-arrow icon.
I like the drop down itself...but it just feels really unbalanced with the double-arrow icon/button/thingie.

Follow-up...
Seems the button *does* need to be bigger, according to coworker. I've since upped the size. :)
