Oh man, I love this place! I've thought several times about redoing their ID, the sign out front is pretty great. Did you take them on as a client or you just did this for fun? I would easily work for food on that, if I were you...
Thanks Curtis. Yeah, I dig their signage and actually don't mind their logo that much. I did it just for fun after a conversation with a coworker over a plate of oysters and a glass of ale. The original idea, at least verbally, was to take the fish and make it the tail on the Q - which sounds good, but didn't feel right no matter which way I scratched it. I'd definitely trade my work for food, though - that place is the cat's damn PJ's.

Thanks Rob. I guess it's called Liberty. I found this page on Flickr and snagged the letters to make the word:

@Simon: still trying to figure the "where", but 1pm still works great. I need to try this seafood place. Where is it located?

that type screams quality and not just because it's the meaning of the word. I love it.

Is this gonna replace the huge awesome neon sign?

I loved how Simon achieved the awesome denim, rugged look on his shot and also love how the 'Quality' type was placed.
Just playing around in Photoshop to get the morning creativeness going.
