My gosh man. Just stop it. STOP IT! Don't you ever have an off day?
another beauty, man.
Beautiful work as always my man :)
Thanks! Some more flavor over here:
Like that Simon, what font is "seafood"?
Great type and great balance!
Excellent as always Simon. I should buy you coffee. :)
Thanks Rob. I guess it's called Liberty. I found this page on Flickr and snagged the letters to make the word:
It's a scan out of this old book:
Oh man, I love this place! I've thought several times about redoing their ID, the sign out front is pretty great. Did you take them on as a client or you just did this for fun? I would easily work for food on that, if I were you...
Thanks Jonathan. Phil: you really should. At 1 tomorrow, or thereabouts. Where?
Thanks Curtis. Yeah, I dig their signage and actually don't mind their logo that much. I did it just for fun after a conversation with a coworker over a plate of oysters and a glass of ale. The original idea, at least verbally, was to take the fish and make it the tail on the Q - which sounds good, but didn't feel right no matter which way I scratched it. I'd definitely trade my work for food, though - that place is the cat's damn PJ's.
That is one sexy Q! The whole thing in stunning! Mad skills, Mr. Walker. Mad skills.
@Simon: still trying to figure the "where", but 1pm still works great. I need to try this seafood place. Where is it located?
that type screams quality and not just because it's the meaning of the word. I love it.
Is this gonna replace the huge awesome neon sign?
Excellent as usual Mr Walker.
You, sir, give designers a good name. Outstanding.
@Simon, you should come to Dallas with Phil this weekend for my art show. Would love to meet you. I admire your work.
Wow. This is such a hard 'trick' to pull off - trust me, I've tried.
Holy schmoly, love it!
fish is amazing, very nice lettering!
The more I look through such a great stuff the more become crazy about this American style!!!
I loved how Simon achieved the awesome denim, rugged look on his shot and also love how the 'Quality' type was placed.
Just playing around in Photoshop to get the morning creativeness going.

Wow. Thanks so much everyone.
Kyle: can't this weekend, but maybe next time around? Thanks for the kind words and the invite, though.
