Working on the new site. Far from finished but getting there... here's a preview: http://interactiveblend.com

I like it - the main feature area - I would reconfigure the brush edges - I don't like the faded edges - maybe try a different brush

Ok, I'll give that a shot. Thanks Chad.

I actually don't mind the faded edges, but mostly with the lighter colors. The slides shown, like this dark color, make the edge look really awkward and hard.

What I think doesn't work is the section below it. Those edges also clash with the edges of the brush in the scrolling picture.

@Elisa thanks, you're right. The brush edge will change depending on the background color so I'm not sure I can control that. For the section below, do you think I should use the same brush/effect or something without a line?

I like the overall color sheme of your website! But I think the logo doesn't breath enough. Maybe try giving it some more space by making it smaller...

Overall I like your first shot & I'll be looking forward to a rebound on this one!

Thanks Corbin, just got it today... I'm glad I entered your contest anyway. Sometimes it's good to bust out the pencils and draw a little.

@Chad I still have to play around with the brush on the faded edges

@Elisa I changed the look of the welcome div, what do you think now?

@Jeroen I shrunk the image part of the logo to give it more space.

Someone else critiqued my buttons towards the bottom so I also changed the look and feel of them as well, how do they look?
