Thank you so much guys for all of your feedback. It really helped me refine this logo mark. The client wanted to see if we could add a star to represent reaching a goal. I told him I would give it a try. What do you think?
Please see attached other versions without the star and variations on the tie.

I love this. Very well done.
Really digging this logo and concept!.. Between the 2, I prefer the previous version-I like the proportions better in that one. I don't think you need the star-his movement is already succeeding in conveying the message.
I really like the concept. It does look like the star is coming from his hand a la Green Lantern.
Other than that, I really like the logo as a mark.
Like this version. Looks more dynamic. The only thing what seems to me is that the man is flying on his back. Maybe there could help just changing the parts of logo - that single bottom part could be put "under" the "legs". Please take it just like my opinion, not criticism ;-)
Regarding the star, you might be able to try utilizing a little negative space to create the star. The hand creates two of the sides of the star already.
Thank you, guys!
@Carlos Fernandez I'm with you about the star. Will definitely show a version without it. I will try to minimize the end tail a bit and see it it will look better. Thanks, Carlos.
@Richard Gil Ha ha... now that you said it, I can totally see Green Lantern ring there.
@Tomas Kopecny I will give that a try, Tomas. Thank you for your input.
@Kevin Burr That is an awesome suggestion, Kevin! Will try it. Thank you :-)
I think the star is adding clutter only for an already clear concept :), but maybe @Kevin Burr suggestion might just do the trick :) cheers!
Awesome stuff, Inka! :D I like the tweaks! I do agree, the star is adding clutter... but if they really wanted the star, maybe make it cut into his hand? Negative space, like some people said previously... Or make it come from his hand, kind of like Green Lantern.... hahah. :D
