    lol thanks for the input Jake. There are actually pins all over the map at multiple smaller sizes. The North America one was meant to be emphasized(reasoning for being oversized).

    I personally like the size of the pin. Looks a bit blurry, though. One thing to maybe consider is to kill the dropshadow. Your horizontal lines look very fine, but to have something hovering over the page causing a dropshadow effect seems a bit odd.

    +1 on the blurry pin. The color on it also feels a bit washed out. Something with a richer, bolder color would work well here.

    The drop-shadow on the map also feels a little (for lack of a better word) awkward. Nice texture and text though!
