Part of an old design for a band's website. The band are no longer together, so I'm looking to rework the design for a wordpress theme. The design has the look of an amp stack, with dials for navigation.
@Mitch, you could though, I'm sure I've seen it in somewhere on the 15 years of playing, something like a fallen angel amp head or something around that time (2001-03) :) I think it works well...
You may've seen one, but my point was that, generally, you will always see simple sans-serif type. It's informational design, so it's got to be simple and readable at a glance.
Thanks for the comments guys. I think @Mitch makes a good point, I'll probably play around with a few options. The font used was the google font "reenie beanie".
just had a thought, you could (not should) make the knobs go from 0 to 11 on hover using CSS3. (notice: before anyone says it: websites do not have to look the same in every browser.)
My father have Marshall ones and I must say you did amazing job on realism..especially love the way you did reflections on black corners they look exactly like real thing.
Glad to see it goes to 11. Your texture work is insane! The only thing that throws me off slightly is the white glow around the first knob, but is this to indicate that it is currently selected?
Thanks @Aidan. The glow was to emphasise the selected state, but I'd probably agree it doesn't look quite right. I might try a few things to tweak it slightly

love the Spinal Tap reference in your control knobs going to eleven!

I'd prefer to see some industrial-friendly type above the knobs, because you wouldn't see a handwriting script used on an actual amp.

@Will, @Mitch does and as this is quite a 'marshall' looking 'amp and cabinet' it's probably best to got with a skinny sans-serif font :)
