One of the logo proposals for a business consultant and speaker. Hoping the client will go for this one.

I like it.
One thing though, if his tie gets a little more flight, or sense of movement i think it'd envoke more of a speed/flight/power feeling.
Hope you get what i mean!
@Richard de Ruijter Thanks, Richard. I can make it curved more with the body. I guess I was thinking if he's moving upward fast, the tie will be pressed down against his body instead of flapping up.
awesome idea Inka! :) I kind of feel like his arms are a bit short and stiff, especially his right arm. He kind of looks like Superman too! Not that thats a bad thing at all. haha.
@Inka Mathew Good point Inka, i'm just curious if you explored that direction. Now you mentioned it my thoughts on previous comment are 50/50
@Aldrich Tan Thanks, Aldrich! Yeah, I'm still not 100% with the arms. I'm trying to keep them in check (not going outward too much) because I want to keep the letter "C" form obvious. Will play around with it more if the client chooses this direction.
I love this idea!
Really great, Inka.
Agree with the others about the modifications but I really like this idea!
Looking good Inka. Seeing this version, I think you may have lost a bit of the upward motion / drive from the the original sketch (though it may have just been the angle of the photo...) Either way, I'm wondering if the orientation / proportions in the photo might work better? It also seems like the cut in the tail could probably be a bit thicker for scalability purposes, etc.
Again, I really like the flow and execution.
@Kevin Burr @Rich Scott @Emir Ayouni Thank you so much, guys! Really glad you like it.
@Michael Spitz Thank you, Michael. I think you're right. Something got lost along the way :-) I will study the sketch again. It was the angle of the photo, but also I think the "tail" was thicker/bigger on the sketch. Thanks again for your input!
for me is very nice no need to change
I think most everyone commented on the "something lost" between sketch and this but in any case, maybe push "back" that shoulder a bit. make the shape mimic the photo's perspective
@Maria Frey Thanks for the input, Maria. I'll check into that.
Geez, this is brilliant. Agree with the above comments, but you have a real winner. Damn that LogoLounge deadline. ;-)
@Simon Frouws Aww, thank you, Simon! Your comment made my morning. There's always the next LogoLounge book, but then I don't have the one judge's vote advantage ;-)

Thank you so much guys for all of your feedback. It really helped me refine this logo mark. The client wanted to see if we could add a star to represent reaching a goal. I told him I would give it a try. What do you think?
Please see attached other versions without the star and variations on the tie.
