Does anyone want to play a game? Use this pdf to create a black and white poster.

Your composition should be a reflection on the culture (or subsubsubculture) of which you are a part.

You can make type, or an image, or type as image, or image as whatever.

You can scale, rearrange, deform, transform or anything else.

    Due soon, but whenever.

It should be fun! You don't have to spend any particular amount of time. Stay loose.

Thanks to Stephan Catapano and @Helen Ip for participating already!

I'll be posting received compositions on a tumblr if there are more than like 5 of them.

One duve said this is coming off as "do my homework." Good feedback. If you do not want to particpate, I urge you not to. If you're looking for a quick friday afternoon distraction, I'd be stoked!

Forget rebounding, I'm going to use those shapes to make myself a new font ;)

  8. Quick little preview of the piece I did with the shapes James provided... Kind of ignored the black & white prompt but oh well, I really like how it turned out!

  9. I'm not really a part of it but I became very found of the Haida art lately. It's very common here in Vancouver and I'm always impressed by the shapes and colours.

  10. James, I sent you an email with a bit more, but I'm digging this experiment.
