A while back I posted the mobile portfolio concept. This is the tablet version. You can also see how the design evolved to what is it today. The mobile version of the new portfolio site will be similar in structure but with the new look and feel.
Real pixels attached, let me know what you think.

I would love an iPad that big.
This is so good, Dash. Seriously, one of those moments where I wish I had done this first!
I´m still focus on blue light effect. Really like this detail. But I think that the carbon texture is not necessary. In my opinion the Mobile Portfolio was better in this, because you used darker color and it looks clearer.
And what is the button in the right bottom corner?
4 columns! hmmm... tough to comment on your work but would you consider having the description horizontally or laid over in some way?
@Robert Cooper me too "iPad Big"
@Will Browar thanks man, glad u like
@Tomáš Janoušek Thanks dude, I actually didn't change anything about the textures. They were there in the previous design , just too small to notice them :) The bottom right is supposed to be a settings button.
@Avinash Tripathi Yea at first glance it might not look like the best approach but there are about 1,003,288 things that could be done to make it work, they are just not included in this shot :)
The way the selected glow hits surrounding edges is very cool.
YOU WIN THE INTERWEBZ. Beautiful.
@Dash bad reply heh
@Tomáš Janoušek oops... I was confused for a second. My mistake :)
@Dash No problem :)
Looks really cool. Door icon... the door looks like it's way too big for the opening though. Just me... =)
Altough I like the concept and some of the buttonz (mainly the logo part and the Features button), I'm missing a few details here and there. The menu on the left doesn't seem to be aligned in any way and the text on the right could use some LUV. But all in all still good!
Not digging the cast light coming off the 'Portfolio' button. It doesn't seem bright enough to me for some reason. Just seems a little flat. And where is it coming from? Off the text (in which case that should have a bit of glow to it)? From behind the button itself? Also, the 'View Case Study' button seems sorta drab, especially on top of that medium grey background.
This is soooo cool!
Blue light... Hmmm... Nice concept overall, except that gray color for the sidebar... it gives me a kind of OLDISH / 2005 look... Maybe solid white would be better to go with :/ !?
Just an observation (no hard feelings) ! :)}
Insanely talented icon designer, just sayin :) Site looks amazing as well!
Lookin' smoooov. My only bit is that the right-aligned nav items looked like a mistake at first glance. My first thought was to center-align or left-align them. BUT, I'm sure you've played with it enough to what looks best. Over and Out.
Awesome man, love how clean this looks
