The previous wave felt a little closed, so I added another line at the top that I think gives dimensionality to the wave without adding a lot of unnecessary complexity. To help balance out the added weight in the top right, I included some wave "motion" to the bottom left to help convey movement. I also squished the square into a rectangle so it doesn't feel quite so fat.
Sean: Yeah. I used teal since, well, "ocean" city. But they wanted something that didn't feel quite so medical, so I pushed it closer to blue than to green. Thanks for the kind words!

Finally finishing this thing off.

Nothing worse than fat squares.

I think this is awesome. It feels very complete. Did they veto the old colors?
